In 2026, we hope to see clients continue prioritizing how they truly live in their homes. We love seeing more appreciation for materials that age gracefully, and we’re leaning in – think stained woods over painted, softer stones instead of quartz, and unlacquered metals that patina. While we understand the desire for a “forever new” look, we believe that showing wear is a sign of love. We want our spaces to grow and evolve in tandem with the people who inhabit them.

Warmer Hues
Regardless of what the “color of the year” might be, we’re seeing a shift away from sterile whites and grays toward base tones with real soul. Bringing in hints of pink and yellow creates a sense of nostalgia and coziness that people crave, making a house feel less like a showroom and more like a home.

A Return to Defined, Flexible Rooms
We’re seeing a shift toward homes that embrace more separation with a cozier, more intimate feel, and we’re here for it. While open concepts still have their place, we’re excited by the renewed interest in spaces that can close off when needed. Pocket doors, cased openings, libraries, dens, and flexible bonus rooms allow homes to adapt over time, offering privacy and quiet without sacrificing overall flow.
