Our Story
Ben Becker, owner + chief visionary, grew up next to his grandfather at his workbench. One day, Grampy Becker gave his young grandson a hammer carved with the name “Ben Becker Construction Co.” and sealed his fate. Ben continued to grow up in the construction industry with his father and grandfather, honing a passion for working with his hands, and learning the importance of delivering on his word.
After completing college, Ben returned to construction in 2012, and took the leap to establish BLB Design / Build, formerly BLB Custom Building, adding himself to a multi-generational heritage of professional builders. Today, BLB is an award-winning, well-established company with a dozen staff, both in the office and in the field, plus an impressive network of subcontractors, affiliated designers, and architects.
