Situated across the street from Joppa Flats in Newburyport, the homeowners of this water-front home wanted to enhance their curb appeal and increase their outdoor living space to capitalize on the incredible view of the Merrimack River.

Over time, the copper roof and deck boards will change color. The copper will react with oxygen, thus causing the material to patina over time due to the natural oxidation process. The deck boards will eventually modify into an almost-silver, ashy color following UV and heat exposure.

Custom curved cove molding was specified and fabricated for added elegance and improved curb appeal. We collaborated with a specialized radius millwork company that produced a seamless, mahogany cove molding that we installed around the perimeter of the porch roof. 

The waterfront home already features a large back deck; therefore, our clients wanted more space out front to view the Merrimack River. We built two seating areas off the front steps for additional outdoor living space and entertainment.
