This 90s Colonial home featured an outdated kitchen and bathrooms. The footprint of each space worked for our clients; however, the tired 20th-century fixtures and finishes clashed with the home’s potential.

Transitional design is a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary styles. This style incorporates traditional elegance while introducing modern lines and angles. While the decor is important, this style lets the furniture and textures do the talking.

We eliminated the existing dormers to provide additional space for the primary bathroom reconfiguration. Closing the dormers suited our client’s future needs, opened space for a double vanity, and created a secret storage space for seasonal clothing and bathroom toiletries.

Before, the kitchen and bathrooms were designed in a traditional 90s fashion with overlay cabinets, heavy wood, clunky fixtures, and dark spaces. We installed modern and bright inset Shaker-style cabinets with dual-material countertops in the kitchen. We eliminated the acrylic shower surround and outdated tile in the primary suite and replaced those with a walk-in shower and honed marble tile.
