BLB is excited to work with the Amesbury Carriage Museum on the construction of the Industrial History Center at Mill 2. We are thrilled to be involved in this project along with Merrimack Design Architects, to support our city of Amesbury, MA, and celebrate its history and culture. Construction on this exciting project begins in late February 2020.

The Amesbury Carriage Museum (ACM) is establishing its first physical location since its start in 1986. Greg Jardis, the owner of Amesbury Industrial Supply Co., has donated space to the museum in his historic 1826 mill building in the city’s upper millyard.

As described in a statement made by the ACM, “The Jardis gift will transform the museum into an active and vital cultural resource for Amesbury. It will enable the museum to develop [an] accessible, ground-level facility that will serve as a venue for programs, exhibits, school tours, family activities, and more. The museum has never had a space like this and there is nothing like it in Amesbury.”

A public fundraising campaign was launched by the ACM this month, with a goal of $120,000. For more information about the campaign or how to support this project, visit the website here.
